The President of the Barbados Economics Society, Dr. Simon Natraim, says what’s key for Barbados now are measures to help preserve the economy as the country tries to ride out the COVID-19 crisis.
Dr. Naitram tells Starcom Network that the longer the pandemic draws out and Barbados has to maintain a shut down the more difficult it will be for businesses to hold on.
He speaks of the need to “freeze the economy” in place so it doesn’t fall apart.
