COVID-19 protocols in place for 11-plus exam

The Ministry of Education says extensive COVID-19 protocols are in place for next week’s Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Exam.

Acting Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson tells Starcom Network News they are using the 21 secondary schools and the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of technology as exam centres.

Mrs Adamson states that parents will not be allowed on the compound and the children should be dropped off at 8:30 am at the exam centres and given a simple packed lunch since there will be a break between the two papers, but the children will not be allowed outside the exam room.

Mrs. Adamson explained the health protocols.
