Question Mark Over Importing Sweet Potatoes
A local agricultural organization is calling on the authorities to halt the planned importation of sweet potatoes. Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society said that Barbados is importing sweet potatoes at a time when farmers are already hard pressed but still producing adequate supply for the country.
