City of Bridgetown MP changing lanes

Member of Parliament for the City of Bridgetown, Corey Lane, has broken his silence on his decision to step aside from contesting the next general election.

Speaking with Starcom Network News, Mr. Lane said that his decision to relinquish the Bridgetown seat for the Barbados Labour Party, which he has held since 2022, was not influenced by any single issue.

Mr. Layne also addressed questions surrounding a possible replacement within the Barbados Labour Party ahead of the constituency’s nomination day on January 17.
