Barbadians are being urged to turn out in support of Venezuela at a demonstration set for tomorrow at 11 a.m. outside the United States Embassy in Wildey, St Michael.
Organisers, the Friends of Venezuela Solidarity Committee along with allied groups, are calling on the public to join the protest, which they say is aimed at standing in solidarity with the Venezuelan people and opposing recent actions by the United States involving President Nicolas Maduro.
Executive Member, Reverend Onkphra Wells says he is encouraging Barbadians who believe in regional sovereignty and solidarity to attend in their numbers.
