TWO WOMEN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE DRUG OFFENSES

A 22-year-old Christ Church woman is expected to appear in court to answer multiple drug charges.

She is Cherisse Ramona Nanton of Bournes Land, Silver Sands and Baxters Road, St. Michael.

Police say that on December 6, Nanton was charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking, intent to supply and importation of cannabis.

The suspected drug weighs 4.7 kilograms with an estimated street value of thirty-seven thousand six hundred Barbados dollars.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Ocean Maat Lolita Hinds of Lammings St. Joseph will also answer to the charges of possession, trafficking, intent to supply and possession of cannabis.

Members of the Narcotics Unit arrested Hinds on December 5^th.

The suspected drug weighed 22.80 kilograms with an estimated street value of one hundred and 82 thousand 400 hundred Barbados dollars

Both Nanton and Hinds will appear before a District B magistrate today.
