The Ministry of Energy announces price changes for petroleum products, which took effect yesterday, Sunday December 7th.
Motorists will see small decreases at the pump. Gasoline will drop by 9 cents, setting a new retail price at 3 dollars and 85 cents per litre. Diesel will be reduced by four cents, bringing its price to 3 dollars and 32 cents per litre.
In contrast to motor fuels, the retail price for kerosene will climb by 5 cents to 1 dollar and 56 cents per litre.
Cooking gas will also see changes in cylinder prices. For the 100 pound cylinder, the new price sits at one hundred and 66 dollars and 34 cents, while the 25-pound cylinder will now be sold at a retail price of 46 dollars and 68 cents.
The 22- and 20-pound cylinders will be sold at 41 dollars and 25 cents and 37 dollars and 50 cents, respectively.
