St. John Man Charged with Firearm and Cocaine Offences

The Barbados Police Service’s Serious Organised Crime Unit has arrested and charged 22-year-old Kevario Shakim Tasheem Griffith of Wilson Hill, St. John, in connection with a firearm and drug investigation.

Police say the offences were committed on November 14th and include possession of a firearm, 14 rounds of ammunition, possession of cocaine, trafficking, and intent to supply. The cocaine weighed just over 21 grams, with an estimated street value of $1,077.

Griffith appeared before Magistrate Angela Knight in the District C Court earlier.

He was not required to plead and has been remanded to Dodds Prison until December 2nd.
