Emergency officials and various Government Ministers currently conducting damage assessment following yesterday’s flooding.

Senior Government officials including Acting Prime Minister aMinister of Transport and Works Santia Bradshaw Home Affairs Minister Wilfred Abrahams as well as MP for St. PETER Colin Jordan and Parliamentary Secretary in the Min of Transport and Works Romel Springer toured several areas of St. Peter that were hardest hit from Sundays heavy rains.

Mr Jordan updated the media at Speightstown a short while ago.

Mr. Jordan also addressed concerns there was not enough focus on drainage and key infrastructure in the parish.
