Second Victim in Alleged Attempted Robbery Dies

Reports indicate that the second man shot in last Saturday morning’s alleged attempted robbery in Weston, St. James has died.

Starcom Network News understands that the victim, a brother of 26-year-old Doniko Gaskin who was pronounced dead at the scene, passed away this morning while receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

It was around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th, that a man was near an establishment proceeding to his vehicle when he was confronted by three armed men. The individual, who is a licensed firearm holder, responded by opening fire.

Meanwhile, The Barbados Police Service continues the search for a third suspect, with indications that they are closing in on an arrest.
