Sen. Cummins Urges Banks to Modernise Loan Terms for Small Businesses

Lisa Cummins, the Minister of Energy and Business, is urging banks and other traditional debt financing institutions to change their loans terms for small businesses.

Speaking at the IGM200 Conference earlier this morning at Hilton Barbados Resort on “Powering a New Growth Agenda for Barbadian Enterprises,” Minister Cummins challenged these institutions to recognize that the current loan system is dated and to focus more on sustainability rather than security.
