Reverend grieving as three church members died during Hurricane Melissa

Reverend Dr. Jacob Powell is in pain over the death of three church members following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
From Santa Cruz in the parish of St. Elizabeth, Reverend Powell says apart from those three deaths, he was fearing the worst for members of another church in Arlington, currently cut off due to flood waters that remain around their homes.

While not suffering infrastructure damage to the magnitude of some other areas – the residents of Santa Cruz had a different worry – land slippage and heavy flooding.

Reverend Powell says it is now about moving forward, being available for his congregation and organizing urgent support for the needy in the Santa Cruz community.
