Over 200 workers formerly employed under the Ash Clean Up Program launched back in 2021 have now been fully integrated into Government’s Highway Beautification Project.
Minister of Transport and Works, Santia Bradshaw gave those details last evening while delivering the feature address at a Barbados Labour Party St. Michael West Central Branch Meeting, held at the Lawrence T Gay Memorial Primary School.
In addition, Ms. Bradshaw says those workers are employed not by Government but by 15 contractors who were also once workers in the Ash Clean Up Program.
The Deputy Prime Minister also revealed that Government would be doubling the numbers contracted.
