Over 400 awaiting speech therapy

The Ministry of Health will be implementing the use of technology and wider tele medicine services to address a backlog of requests for critical but nontraditional conditions.

Speaking at the second Mind Yuh Mind event organized by the Mental Health Commission at the Princess Margaret Secondary School last evening, Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Davidson Ishmael said Government was currently looking to assist over 400 persons requesting speech therapy.
