Two Men Injured in Haynesville Shooting During Social Event

Two men are currently nursing injuries following a shooting incident that disrupted a social event in Haynesville, St. James tonight.

According to The Barbados Police Service, the shooting occurred around 9:40 PM. Both men were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where they are listed in “stable” condition.

Sources told Starcom Network News that the victims were ambushed by at least two masked men who fled the scene on foot after opening fire.

Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their investigation. Persons with information are asked to contact Police Emergency at 211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477).
