Man Shot Dead Outside Funeral Home After Viewing Brother’s Body

Tragedy struck in Bush Hall, St. Michael this evening, as a man was fatally shot near a funeral home just one day before his brother was scheduled to be buried.

Starcom Network News understands that the victim had just viewed his sibling’s body when two men exited a vehicle and opened fire, hitting him multiple times.

Despite a swift response by emergency medical personnel, the young man later succumbed to his injuries. His death marks Barbados’ 27th homicide for the year.

The Barbados Police Service is expected to issue an official statement shortly as investigations continue.
