CBU General Assembly set for August 18th to 20th

Barbados will be represented when the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) Award Ceremony takes place on August 20, 2025.

Secretary-General of the CBU, Sonia Gill, announced that the 2025 CBU Media Awards received a record-breaking 551 entries across 61 categories. These submissions came from 30 organizations spanning 11 countries and territories.

Barbados secured an impressive 55 nominations.

Ms. Gill made the announcement during the launch of the 56th Annual General Assembly of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union, held this morning.
