A Dems Warm Welcome as Donville Returns Insisting He’s Innocent

Former cabinet minister and MP Donville Inniss has returned home to a warm welcome from Democratic Labour Party supporters as he said how good it was to be back in Barbados and insisted that he’s innocent.

The former Commerce Minister and MP for St. James South Arrived just after 10 pm on an American Airlines flight from Miami having been released from jail and deported by US authorities after serving a two-year sentence for  money laundering.

A much thinner, than previously, Mr. Inniss was swarmed by DLP supporters as he exited the arrivals hall.

 

Mr. Inniss denied any criminal wrong doing and hinted that he may not be finished with politics.

 

Meantime, the chairman of the Democratic Labour Party, St. James South Branch Hyrone Boyce was among those at the airport to welcome Mr. Inniss and voiced support for the former MP.
