Barbados has recorded 211 new Covid-19 cases over the last two week period for which statistics have been published.

New covid-19 numbers released today indicate that between February 4th and 17th Barbados recorded more than two hundred additional cases from one thousand, 963 tests, a positivity rate of 10.7 percent.

That’s a slight reduction from the positivity rate of 13 percent for the previous reporting period.

Up to February 17th, 13 people remained hospitalized in Barbados with Covid-19.

To date, since the start of the pandemic, Barbados has recorded more than a hundred thousand covid-19 cases and 575 deaths.
