A 31-year-old man who has escaped the psychiatric hospital is wanted by the police, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
Akeem Griffith alias Menace or Batman of Montrose, Christ Church is approximately six feet, tall dark complexion and of slim build. He has the image of a star tattoo on his left cheek and the word ‘THUG’ and the number ‘50’ tattooed on his left hand along with the letter ‘M’ tattooed on his right hand.
The man who was in police custody was later remanded to the psychiatric hospital where he escaped on Saturday.
Griffith is advised to present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Southern Division located at the Glebe Police Station accompanied by an Attorney-at-Law of his choice.
