Agriculture Minister/BUT Tells Land Owners Clear Land Causing Cow Itch

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Indar Weir, says he is concerned that some land owners are not keeping their lots clean, posing a problem for some communities.

Mr. Weir’s comments come amidst complaints that cow-itch continues to be a nuisance in some rural areas.

He adds that while the Ministry of Agriculture is only responsible for maintaining government plantations, they are willing to provide assistance to the owners of private lands.
