Tough new child protection legislation is being taken to parliament that abolishes the offence of wandering and strengthens the state’s powers power of intervention.
The announcement was made this morning my Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey.
He spoke about the requirement for mandatory reporting.
