About 150 thousand people have already registered for the new Barbados Trident I.D. Card with most of them delivered as the government remains on target to have up to 300 thousand cards issued by the end of March.
Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology Davidson Ishmael, updated Starcom Network News on the roll-out of the ten million dollar project.
Mr. Ishmael says the 300 thousand target includes Barbadians on island as well as in the diaspora.
He noted there were initial delays.
