Thousands of school children returned to classrooms across Barbados today as Minister of Education, Kay McConney, stressed mask-wearing is optional but a strict new dress code and grooming policy is in place.
Ms. McConney notes the relaxation of the covid-19 protocols that previously existed.
Ms. McConney says the new dress code and grooming policy updates the almost thirty-year old code of discipline and dress code which needed to be upgraded.
