Search for Missing St. George Woman Continues

Police, soldiers and a drone have been deployed at Workman’s , St. George  to search for an elderly woman who has been missing for three days.

Monday was the last time 82-year-old Elmonda Husbands was last seen by her family.

Police received a report on Tuesday that Ms. Husbands had left her residence about 12:45 pm on January 2 and had not been seen since.

Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of operations in the Southern Division, Carollyn Blackman Alleyne, provided an update on the search.

She was speaking this morning at the search team command center in St. George.

 

Family members of the missing woman, who is also diabetic, said they had been at the command center since 7 am awaiting information. Starcom Network News spoke to her granddaughter, Victoria Alleyne.
