Friends and family gathered today to say their final farewells to the late Sarah Simone Codrington-Miller who was known by many as simply Simone Condrington.

The former communications specialist at the National Cultural Foundation and the Barbados Workers Unions passed away recently after an illness.

In a service of thanksgiving at the Hugh Springer Auditorium at Solidarity House, tributes some in song and poetry were made both virtually and in person by those whose life she had touched.

One of Sarah’s friends and former work colleague at the National Cultural Foundation Disa Forde-Cooke remembered her as a kind and loving person, with a great work ethic.
