Heavy rains this morning flooded several areas especially in rural Barbados and rendered impassable a temporary access road at Bawdens, St. Andrew.

MP for the parish Dr. Rommel Springer, the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Works, tells Starcom Network News that repairs will be done as quickly as possible.

Mr. Springer noted the importance of the temporary road to access for several districts in St. Andrew and promised repairs will be given priority.
