The bodies of a St. Philip family of four have been discovered in their home.

The police and fire service are at the scene of what was at first reported as a house fire at Breezy Hill, Halton, St. Philip. Neighbours reported hearing what sounded like explosions some time around 3 AM and saw smoke coming from the two storey home which was occupied by two adults and two children.

First responders are reported to have found the four bodies as they searched the premises.
