Trinidad and Tobago is currently preparing for heavy rains and gusty winds as a Tropical Storm warning goes into effect for the country.

Speaking during a media conference on the current weather system Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for communications, Symon De Nobriga said all government offices will be closed with a number of other businesses due to close early ahead of the passage of the tropical storm.
