The Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, BHTA, has issued a statement defending government’s removal of the testing requirement for vaccinated arrivals and the relaxation of the mask mandate for people outdoors.
Chairman of the BHTA, Renee Coppin, notes that the changes were among recommendations from the sector and believes the adjustments are a good move.
Ms. Coppin expects the changes will benefit tourism.
