The police have issued an alert to home owners, especially on the south coast, to be on guard following a string of burglaries.

A burglar or burglars are said to have broken into several homes including one case that was caught on security camera, the video of which was being widely circulated today.

Police  Crime Prevention Officer, Inspector Stephen Griffith, urges the public to pay attention to their home security.
