Evangelics concerned about vaccinations

Some local evangelical leaders are objecting to the push in Barbados to have children and the wider population vaccinated saying they have major concerns.

That message came across strongly during a panel discussion hosted this morning by three religious organisations, the Spiritually Aware Group, the House of Freedom Ministries as well as Rapha Revival Ministries of Trinidad and Tobago.

One of the panelists, Reverend Ferdinand Nicholls, founder and senior pastor of House of Freedom Ministries, believes the vaccine campaign and its promoters, including government officials, are misguided and misinformed.

Reverend Nicholls still insists he’s not anti-vaccine.

Meantime, joint coordinator of Barbados’ national vaccination program Major David Clarke, emphasises the importance of vaccination in this country’s efforts to battle the pandemic.
