UWU threatening more industrial action

Nurses represented by the United Workers Union are threatening to take further industrial action unless they get an appropriate response from government over a number of grievances

Vice Chair of the UWU’s nurses division, Marsha Gill, says government has not honoured promises that were made.

Speaking at a news conference, she said action will be taken unless they get a response from government’s director general for human resources

Meantime, Chair of the UWU nurses division Gillian Dowridge claims that lack of equipment is compromising the health care system.
