At least a half dozen patrons of a New Year’s Day fete at the Ball Park Events Centre have tested positive for covid-19 and several others are awaiting test results.
This has been confirmed by Dwayne Drakes, one of the Directors of Blended Events, the organisers of the fete.
Mr. Drakes points out that protocols were in place at the event.
