Oistins Bay Garden closed due to covid-19 cases

Stall owners at the Oistins Bay Garden in Christ Church have been ordered to close their businesses until further notice after at least 2 workers there allegedly tested positive for Covid-19.

A memo issued by the National Conservation Commission (NCC) to the President of the Oistins Bay Garden Committee and Stall Owners states that people who work at the Oistins Bay Garden facility have tested positive for covid-19 and include  staff members from the NCC and a kiosk operator.

The memo adds that the NCC through directions from the Ministry of Health and Wellness is advising that all the kiosks and craft vendors remain closed until further notice.

One of the kiosk operators Michelle Clarke, the owner of Crystal’s Bar and Grill, confirmed the development.
