All school classes will be online only when the new school term and school year begins next month.

This announcement was made by Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw today following talks with teachers unions and other stakeholders.

Ms. Bradshaw cites the surge in covid-19 cases and notes that many young people are being affected.

She disclosed that about a hundred students are in isolation.

Ms. Bradshaw notes that some schools are already being used as isolation centres and says more may be added to that list.
