Police from Oistins Police Station are investigating an unnatural death which was reported about 10 20 am on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at Apartment #2, Nelson, Maxwell Main Road, Christ Church.
Police arrived at the residence to confirm the lifeless body of an adult male on the bed in the bedroom of the said apartment.

A black plastic garbage bag was secured over his head with a hose attached which was connected to a gas cylinder.

A thorough investigation is ongoing; however no foul play is suspected.

Based on the information from family and friends close to the deceased and the presented circumstances Suicide is suspected.

The deceased has been formally identified by a sibling as Desmond Alexander Taitt, 48 of the said address .
