About twenty percent of the Barbados Light and Power Company’s customers are still without electricity two days after the passage of Hurricane Elsa.

The BL&P’s Manager of Communications Jackie Marshall-Clarke tells Starcom Network News the company continues to make steady progress in restoring service.

Mrs. Marshall-Clarke says the company has received almost four thousand reports from customers and will be focusing today on several areas many of them in the north and the center of the island but also on clusters in St. Michael, Christ Church and St. Phillip..
