Volcano Dust Postpones Face to Face Classes at Three Schools

The resumption of face to face classes at three primary and secondary schools had to be postponed as the compounds were deemed not ready when students and staff turned up this morning.

Classes three and four at primary schools and fifth and sixth forms at the secondary level were to resume in person classes today but it was felt that more work need to be done to clear up the lingering volcanic dust.

Minister of Education Santia Bradhsaw tells Starcom Netwiork News that classes at the Combereme, St. Paul’s and Blackman and Gollop Schools will resume between tomorrow and Wednesday.

 

 

Meantime, Miss Bradshaw has disclosed to Starcom Network News that Caricom education ministers are working towards a solution to some of the concerns over the CXC exams. The issues discussed this morning at a meeting of the Caricom Council level
