Teachers are raising questions about whether the planned resumption of face to face classes next week can or should go ahead due to the still ongoing volcanic ash clean up and the case of covid-19 clusters linked to a church.

President of the Barbados Secondary Teachers Union Mary-Anne Redman tells Starcom Network News that only this morning she dispatched a letter to the ministry of education seeking a meeting on the matter.


Mrs. Redman says a lot depends on what comes out of the requested meeting.
