Minister of Health, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, and senior health officials today toured a number of health facilities involved in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic on the first anniversary of Barbados’ first confirmed COVID-case.

The Health Minister says he’s pleased that the covid cases continue to trend downward.

Head of the isolation facilities Dr. Corey Forde, warned Barbadians not to drop their guard despite the progress being made in battling the pandemic.

He noted that while the number of patients at the main isolation center has declined, young people are among the patients and some are very ill.
