The first phase of the Barbados National Vaccination Program wraps up this week with health officials having conducted yesterday, the last in this initial series of public mass vaccinations.
Coordinator of the program Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand tells Starcom Network News that more vaccines will arrive shortly.
She spoke as the final mass vaccination session was concluding at Cave Hill.
Dr. Ferdinand gave the assurance that they are enough vaccine doses in stock for the people who have already had their first shot to get their follow-up injection. And, those people will be contacted shortly.
