BLACK ROCK POLICE STATION CLOSED DUE TO COVID CASE

The Black Rock Police Station has been temporarily closed due to COVID19 contact tracing investigations involving a police officer attached to the station.

Police Public Relations Officer Sergeant (ag), Michael Blackman, says this closure takes effect immediately from today until further notice.

As a result the public is asked to direct their calls for service to police emergency number 211 or 4307100.

Meantime…

The Management of The Dome Mall in Warrens has been made aware of a positive case of Covid-19 at one of the mall businesses.

In a statement issued today management, said they have been in contact with the Ministry of Health and while they have not been mandated to close, they have taken the decision to do so out of an abundance of caution.

The Dome Mall is now closed to allow a thorough sanitizing of all common areas, so that they can reopen for business on Monday, January 18th, 2021.
