Venezuela Embassy gifts Barbados 54 mango trees

To mark Barbados’ upcoming 54th anniversary of Independence, the Venezuela Embassy gifted 54 mango trees to the country. this was in support of Government’s objective to plant a million trees project.

The plants were accepted by Environment Minister, Adrian Forde. He thanked the embassy for their generosity and continued strong relationship with the country.

He said the trees will help in Barbados’ efforts to ensure there is a reduction in the levels of global greenhouse gas emissions.
