SBA wants financial lifeline

The head of the Small Business Association is calling on Government to throw out an urgent lifeline to the small business sector which is on the brink of collapse.

Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Lynette Holder says many micro small and medium enterprises are continuing to suffer and face indefinite closure as a result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She tells Starcom Network News that business owners in the sector are facing challenges with accessing financing from various funding agencies.

Dr. Holder says government needs to revise the disbursement process for SME’s accessing the stimulus packages.
