Breakthrough in Silver Hill shooting

A twenty-year-old man has been charged with several criminal matters under investigation by Police in the Christ Church area.

Lawmen say they’ve arrested and formally charged, Jahlany Tramaine Yarde, of number 6B Silver Hill Drive, Christ Church with five offenses.

He’s charged with unlawfully wounding, Orerand Oliver with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or cause serious bodily harm on January 21st,2020.

Yarde is also charged with damaged to a shop belonging to Emrene Durant on the same day with use of an unlicensed firearm.

The man also faces charges with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Cameron Holder on December second and assaulting Sherissa Dublin occasioning her actual bodily harm, on October thirty first, last year.

Yarde was scheduled to appear at the Oistins Magistrates Court this morning.
