The president of the National Diabetes Association, Trudy Griffith is expressing concern about what she says is the rise in the number of diabetic cases in Barbados.
Speaking at a church service in Josey Hill, St. Lucy yesterday to bring attention to World Diabetes Day, Ms. Griffith said not only are the number of cases rising but also people with complications from the disease are on the rise as well.
World Diabetes Day is on November 14th.
