‘Schools reopen’

Students of the Maria Holder Nursery and Sharon Primary returned to the classroom this morning after both schools were closed because of environmental issues.

The Nursery school reopened this morning, while class three and four students of the Sharon Primary School reported to the Jackson Seventh-Day Adventist Church and class two’s are being accommodated at the Holy Innocents Primary School at Ayshford, St. Thomas to which they are being shuttled.

Speaking to Starcom Network News Principal of Sharon Primary Mrs.Pamela Small-Williams expressed concern that students were away from classes for a long period but noted  that though they were away from school students were still assigned work.

Meantime, she thanked teachers and parents for their time and effort in trying to reorganize the church for students.
