Man attacked and killed near Harrow, St. Philip

A  St. Phillip man is Barbados’ latest murder victim, apparently ambushed and chopped to death as he made his way through a track at Harrow, St. Philip.

Police Public Relations Officer, acting Inspector Rodney Inniss briefed the media at the scene.

Friends and relatives later identified the deceased as 25-year-old Kevin Atherly of Padmore Village.

His father Carson Atherly tells Starcom Network News Kevin, who he describes as the perfect son, travelled through that track every day going to and from work at the Crane Resort’s project at Skeete’s Bay.

Mr. Atherly believes his son’s attacker was lying in wait.

A close friend of the victim described him as a quiet person and says his murder came as a big shock to everyone.
