Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred about 1145 pm yesterday along a walkway situated at Sandy Hill, St. Philip.
The 55 year old victim of the same address Ralston Philip Agard was the driver of a route Taxi and he had reportedly parked his vehicle outside his residence when an explosion was heard.
The victim called for assistance and a family member came to his aid. The ambulance and the Police were both summoned and responded to the scene.
On arrival the victim showed no signs of life. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Police have launched an unnatural death investigation.
